Medu vada

 Medu Vada is a crispy snack made by grinding urad dal to a batter & then frying dollops of batter shaped as donuts. Medu Vada Recipe published here gets crispy outside, soft inside vada which is relished as a snack and as a side dish for rice meal. The medu vada is made primarily of black lentils (urad dal) batter. The black lentils are soaked in water for several hours, and then ground to a paste. Vada or Vadai is a category of savoury fried snacks native to India. Vadas can be described variously as fritters, cutlets, or dumplings. Alternative names for this food include vadai, vade, and bada. Vadas are sometimes stuffed with vegetables and traditionally served with chutneys and sambar.

Hyderabadi Haleem

 It is originally an Arabic dish and was introduced to the Hyderabad State by the Chaush people during the rule of the Nizams (the former rulers of Hyderabad State). Local traditional spices helped a unique Hyderabadi haleem evolve, that became popular among the native Hyderabadis by the 20th century. Thanks to the presence of protein loaded lentils, Haleem helps in building muscle and tissue. Being rich in carbohydrates, Haleem aids in replenishing depleted energy levels and it also contains dry fruits that are rich in antioxidants that work as anti-ageing agents making one look young and beautiful. Besides being rich in energy, haleem is also heavy on anti-oxidant ingredients like dry fruits. The anti-oxidants work as anti-ageing agents making one look young and energetic. The meat present in haleem makes it high on protein thereby adding the sumptuous dish's health benefits.

Feni

 Feni is alcoholic beverage locally prepared from cashew apples whose strength is 45% above, exclusively in Goa.Feni has a very unique, fruity flavor. “Cashew feni is technically a botanical spirit, with clarity in color and finish. A colorless spirit, on the nose, it is very pungent with tropical fruits like guava, green apple, pear, jackfruit and durian,” explains Vaz. Feni has antiseptic properties which helps in curing wounds and cuts. - It helps in cleansing the body and inducing proper bowel movement. Caution: Feni can serve as a medicine only when consumed in moderation and under expert supervision.  In the traditional method of making cashew feni, only tree ripened cashew apples that have fallen are picked and taken for the crush. The cashew apples are de-seeded and then dropped into the stomping area.

Dharwad peda

 The story of Dharwad Peda dates back to the 19th century when it was first concocted in the kitchens of Dharwad's local sweet shops. It is believed that the recipe was a closely guarded secret passed down through generations within these families. Dharwad Peda(Kannada:-ಧಾರವಾಡ ಪೇಡ) was first prepared by Ram Ratan Singh Thakur in the early 19th century. The Thakur family migrated frm Unnao (Madhya Pradesh) to Dharwad. It is a Indian sweet and is uniquely prepared and found in Karnataka state. The milk used in Dharwad Pedha is procured from the local areas of Dharwad helping in its unique taste. The mixture is cooked on a wood fire till the colour turns brown. Dharwad pedha is a dessert snack, so naturally it's health benefits are not as numerous as some other foods, like chickpeas or baked chicken. It is  made of milk which is heated and stirred continuously, with added flavor and sugar. As a result, it can be considered a kind of condensed milk with flavors.

Kovilpatti kadalai mittai

 Kovilpatti kadalai mittai is the taste of Tamil Nadu. It's also known as Peanut Candy which, is one of the traditional snack of Tamil Culture. But the issue lies in the accumulation of Pitham. Crafted with roasted peanuts, which is  source of protein, jaggery, and  cardamom powder, each piece is a delightful fusion of flavors. The mixture is  skillfully flattened and cut into bite-sized pieces. Kadalaimittai or peanut candy from Tamil nadu are made of kadalai (peanut) and Jaggery.  Puttu is a traditional and most popular breakfast dish of Kerala prepared with rice flour and coconut. It is rich in carbohydrates, proteins, sodium and potassium which makes your kid healthy. It is made of steamed cylinders of ground rice layered with coconut shavings, sometimes with a sweet or savory filling on the inside. Puttu is usually a breakfast dish served hot with either sweet side dishes such as palm sugar or banana, or savoury with chana masala, chutney, rasam, or meat curries. Puttu is excellent for diabetic patients; however, make sure to eat minimally. Always mix a small piece of puttu with some curry to avoid over eating. Try making puttu in coconut shells or bamboo. Sprouts or Bengal gram curry tastes best with puttu.
